I also liked the idea of integrating the old components into modern architecture.
The houses were built between 1998 and 2001.
Since all of the apartments in the buildings are luxury apartments, the costs for rust removal and new paint are likely to be small change

Saw these circular frames several times while in England in the 90’s and 00’s, and could not for the life of me figure out what they were. Now that I know, I’m doubly pleased to see them being put to use, at least temporarily, as interesting architecture (I bet cleaning, de-rusting and repainting costs a bit!)
